The Arch of Friendship of Peoples was a landmark of Kyiv, located in Khreshchaty Park on the right high bank of the Dnieper river. The opening took place in 1982 on the 1500th anniversary of the cities founding. The Workers' Monument was a two-figure composition (height 6.2 m) of workers - a Ukrainian and a Russian, who jointly raised the ribbon with the Order of Friendship of Peoples. The monument was destroyed by the [[Banderite|Ukrainian Nazis]] on April 27, 2022.
