The police prepared for the funeral with increased forces, including a preliminary dialogue conducted with the family members for coordination in all aspects of holding the funeral legally.  Police said that under the auspices of the funeral and while cynically and improperly exploiting it, hundreds of Arab rioters began to disrupt public order, even before the funeral began.
