In August 2022, DeSantis gave a suspiciously weak-worded response to the [[Biden regime|Biden]] [[FBI]] raid on Donald Trump's [[Mar-a-Lago]] home in Palm Beach County. According to Sundance at the Conservative Treehouse, this was a gigantic blunder comparable to that made by [[Ted Cruz]] at the 2016 Republican National Convention, and DeSantis therefore has seriously damaged his presidential chances going forward.
