I note Western propaganda never refers to "US-backed Taiwan separatists" while the US official position is recognizing Taiwan as belonging to the [[Peoples Republic of China]]. And it's a little odd, seeing that providing arms to separatists is a violation of Chinese sovereignty and UN Resolutions.
