a start
'''Moms for Liberty''' is a group founded in January 2021 by three [[Florida]] moms.<ref>https://www.aol.com/moms-liberty-emerges-power-player-161516135.html</ref> It has quickly grown to 100,000 members and hundreds of state chapters, and attracted the leading [[Republican]] candidates for president, including the frontrunner [[Donald Trump]], to its annual conference in [[Philadephia]] in late June 2023.

It was founded "to fight [[COVID]] restrictions at their children’s schools," and "the group soon moved into overhauling curricula, pulling books from library shelves and competing in school board races across the nation."
