→"Republican presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis supports revoking China's trade status"
:It likely would take a major precipitating event for the US Senate to cancel the status. We can't just toss off headlines like this without educating the public first of the stakes invovled.

== Breaking: Turkey's Erdogan to back Sweden joining NATO - Stoltenberg ==
This is awesome news for NATO supporters. The next step, after Ukraine, is NATO expanding to Asia, with Japan, South Korea, India, then Australia etc. But this is a day for rejoicing for those who've been supporting NATO. European, Transatlantic, and International Security just got stronger by much:
"Turkey's Erdogan to back Sweden joining Nato - Stoltenberg"
"Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has agreed to support Sweden's bid to join Nato, the military alliance's chief Jens Stoltenberg has said.
He said the Turkish leader would forward Sweden's bid to the parliament in Ankara and "ensure ratification".
Meanwhile, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said: "I am very happy, it is a good day for Sweden." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-66160319 [[User:NishantXavier|NishantXavier]][[User talk:NishantXavier|For Christ the King]] 16:35, July 10, 2023 (EDT)
