→Weiss Special Counsel Appointment Did Not Violate DOJ Regulations
::Are these rules really that hard to follow or to understand? If they are, Garland should change the regulation instead of pretending to follow it. PeterKa (talk) 06:38, August 14, 2023 (EDT)

:::Mr. Ka: Why are you quoting the relevant US Code concerning the appointment of Special Counsels? I included these references in my first post concerning the appointment of Weiss. PLEASE read 28 U.S.C. §§ 509, 510, and 515. I’m begging you. CP admins seem to be very inconsistent when it comes to the appointment of Special Counsels. John Durham was a DOJ employee when he was appointed a Special Counsel yet the CP article on him does not contain any griping about how the Trump administration flouted the law. Will this oversight be remedied?--LSimons (talk) 10:00, August 14, 2023 (EDT)

::::There's an obvious bias here, which was not so obvious in the Durham probe. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 12:14, August 14, 2023 (EDT)
