Petrine Primacy is not the issue. Petrine Primacy is based on Mat 16:18-19. The Orthodox consider the Pope to have a Primacy of Honor, but not of Jurisdiction. At the Re-Union Councils of Florence and Lyons II, historically, the Pope held a place of honor as the doctrinal discussions were proceeding. In the world today, it is important Christian Nations come to Peace and Consensus and work together.
Certainly, if anyone is targeting the Pope, obviously, I as a Catholic Christian will never agree with it, and I condemn it. Part of Ukraine joining the EU will be to show that it satisfies and can fulfill all the democratically required conditions: "How do countries join the EU? Any European country that agrees to promote the EU's common values – respect for human dignity and human rights, freedom, democracy, equality and the rule of law – and meets certain conditions, referred to as the “Copenhagen criteria,” is eligible to apply for membership.26-Jul-2022" https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2022/07/26/how-exactly-do-countries-join-the-eu/. Ukraine has some issues to fix, but that doesn't justify starting a War displacing some 10 MN people. Putin needs to go home, Ukraine needs democratic reforms[[User:NishantXavier|NishantXavier]][[User talk:NishantXavier|For Christ the King]] 15:15, September 1, 2023 (EDT)
