We appear to have solved our Bill Browder dispute. I am glad this occurred. I believe that Conservapedia Commandment #1 was instrumental in causing this to occur.
And although my interest in politics has waned and I am seeing it more and more like being like the weather - namely something you feel tempted to complain about from time to time, but can't do much about - unfortunately our recent conflict and political disagreements had the unfortunate effect of actually increasing my interest in politics which is something I want to move to a much lower priority in my life. Although I enjoy politics/history, unfortunately sometimes one has to make sacrifices and exercise restraint for the benefit of others. Jesus famously said, "Not my will be one, but Thy will be done" and he commanded men to love God and our fellow man. Also, I like honey, but if I gorged myself on it that wouldn't be very healthy. There is a place for balance in one's life and politics is no exception. And by the way, I had a few logjams hinder my progress on some off-wiki projects. But recently, a few breakthroughs have started to occur that are breaking up the key logjams. In addition, I am batting down the hatches when it comes to time management.
As far as my future plans in terms of writing about politics at Conservapedia, if China sees a big economic collapse due to various factors, I plan on updating my China content. Also, it would be great if Xi Jingping was forced out of power by his countrymen or if the CCP lost power. But most of my China content updates will probably relate to Christianity/atheism in China. But after all is said and done, what will happen in China is hard to predict because authoritarian regimes are opaque and they can collapse like the Soviet Union did.
And as far as Russia, it is my opinion that things will change slowly for good or for bad. So maybe I will write about Russia in about 5 to 10 years. Yesterday, I listened to a lecture about Russia by a historian who specializes in Russian history. He gave 6 possible scenarios - including the "unexpected scenario" which nobody came close to predicting. I do hope that the most positive scenario happens to Russia for the sake of the Russian people and the world at large.
