How much do you know on this topic, just out of curiosity? What definitely has sparked my curiosity at times in my life (having grown up under a semi-traditional Chinese household) was how amicable my parents and family friends are towards Japanese culture, and how little they ever emphasized the brutality of Japanese war crimes during WWII. There have been times when my father brought up American imperialism, slavery, etc., yet never would invoke a mention of the sheer inhumane extent of torture in China by Fascist Japan.

It's interesting that the same first-generation Chinese immigrants, brought up under CCP indoctrination and who despise Chiang Kai-Shek while glorifying or at least defending/trivializing Mao Zedong, are so strangely prone to disregarding the sheer horrifying record of Japanese war crimes. I've never quite had an intrinsic bitter hatred for the CCP before, though now am uncovering some clues. —<code><span style="background:#FF8181">LT</span></code> Rev. 22:13 Monday, 16:22, September 18, 2023 (EDT)
