Just to clarify. I hope I didn’t sound as if I refuted that particular case. In that specific case, one of the sins of the generation of the flood was indeed that <small>as stated in Midrash [Vayikra Raba 23] (and that they used to 'certify' it).</small> asides fromm other sins.
