::::::So that accounts for 20,000 (more than Division strength). All told, there were about 80,000 Ukrainian Waffen SS. In the regular police and ''Schutzmanshaft'', probably over 300,000. And these units served in today's "western Ukraine", Belarus, Lithuania, and Poland. The local Nazis remained in place; the Ukrainian SS units moved with the German army, and saw action in Slovakia, France, and Italy. Now we turn to the [[National Security Act of 1947]], creation of the CIA, NSA, and Pentagon, the role of [[RfE]], and CIA/Pentagon joint covert activities funding armed rebellion in the Soviet Union.
