Westerners falling for Russian propaganda and choosing to be ardent Russia lovers is like a guy being seduced by a corrupt 300-pound woman. If I were to pick a country outside the USA to very much like/love, I would pick [[Singapore]] over Russia any day of the week.

There is far less social dysfunction in Singapore than in Russia. Singapore has a low crime rate and a highly educated population. A far higher percentage of Russian men die of alcoholism or other self-destructive behaviors in Russia than are materially harmed by caning in Singapore.
