:::The etylmology of words certainly has its place. But it's ridiculous to expect someone to know the etymology of all the words they speak. Also, words have different meanings and also change over time.
:::More importantly, the Meriam Webster dictionary defines geopolitics as "a study of the influence of such factors as geography, economics, and demography on the politics and especially the foreign policy of a state."[https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/geopolitics] So I didn't think the essay had the right title so I replaced the word "geopolitics" with international relations.
