::::Primnary elections differ from General elections; primary elections are essentially private party elections to select a party candidate, and not elections for government offices. In most states, the two parties have agreed to allow government involvement so they can use school buildings, etc. In Nevada for instance, the parties do not hold their caucuses on the same day.
::::So the Colorado GOP has the option to break any agreement it has with the state to conduct the primary, and hold its own primary which would be binding with the national convention. But that means the party has to rent its own halls, etc at greeter expense. [[User:RobSmith|RobS]][[User talk:RobSmith|''Zelensky didn't kill himself'']] 18:04, December 20, 2023 (EST)
