:The historical reality and facts show it was [[Donald J. Trump]] who exposed the entire Epstein scandal. The DOJ & FBI never would have done it themselves.
:In 2006, Epstein recruited a 15 year old girl, Virginia Guiffre, an employee of [[Mar-a-Lago]], into the child sex trade. Trump immediately barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago, and watched as the [[DOJ]] covered up the scandal. Investigations exposed the [[Clinton]] connection. I believe the scandal so outraged Donald J. Trump, especially where his name was involved, he believed to only to rectify the matter for victims and expose the corruption in the federal government was to run for president himself. It may not have been his only motive to run in 2016, but fair-minded historians need to consider this matter closely. And of course, if we can get some input from Trump himself in memoirs or personal interviews, that would help.
