Iran is at war with us dince 1979 (including in Latin America), but not 'hot war' before Iraqi militias sent by Iran two decades ago and not so out in the open as now. But Biden is of course only focused on his campaign <small>(- which is why he gave the Arab lobby the bone of targeting a few "settlers" at the same day he meets Michigan Arabs.</small>. We only hope he doesn't do irrational things such as attacking masses of people instead of facilities. Modern frontline combat is drone warfare, and Ukraine is the proving ground. Now it's been said, "NATO/Ukraine has the qualitative edge, while Russia has the quantitative edge" (''deja vu''). Sure, NATO/Ukraine is producing evermore sophisticated, technologically "advanced" drones, but it can't produce in quantity the number Russia is capable of. And it cannot prevent Russia from acquiring and copying those "technological improvements" (without Russia spending a dime on research and development), and reproducing the improved version in far superior numbers than NATO/Ukraine is capable of.
