I thought the Cornpop story was a classic whopper that would never be topped. But now Biden has come out with a [https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/apr/19/joe-biden-uncle-bosie-cannibals-eaten-papua-new-guinea bizarre story about his uncle being eaten by cannibals]. This is apparently a reworking of an old tale about Michael Rockefeller, heir to the Rockefeller fortune, who disappeared mysteriously in New Guinea in 1961. (The Rockefeller story was the subject of a book that came out in 2014.)
