==Victory Day celebrations==
Victory Day falling on May 9th is the second biggest holiday in Russia behind the winter holidays and just as important in Russian culture as the [[4th of July]] is in the [[United States]].
Despite Western [[propaganda]] and calls for an uprising and overthrow of President Vladimir Putin, more than 1 million people turned out in the streets of Moscow for the 2022 [[Victory Day]] celebrations of the Immortal Regiment for which Vladimir Putin was the featured honored speaker.<ref>https://videopress.com/v/KnJnf4eu</ref>
