In so-call "Nazi-occupied" France, Poland, the Baltics, Ukraine & elsewhere, the Germans had no problem finding willing volunteers to do the dirty work while the Germans directed and supervised.

These facts were taught in both Soviet and now Russian Federation history books top elementary school children, but are virtually unknown in the US.
