Perhaps my use of the term "overturned" is too broad. Did 40 years of sanctions prevent North Korea from obtaining nuclear weapons knowhow and build a bomb (or obtaining [[IDBM]] technology from [[Ukraine]] to deliver it to the [[United States]]? No.
Does anyone seriously believe a [[third world]] hellhole like North Korea can build a nuclear bomb, but sanctions can prevent a rich, highly educated population like [[Iran]] from doing the same (or even buying one from North Korea)?
The American abuse of sanctions begins with [[blackmail]]ing countries to adopt [[gay marriage]], [[transgenderism]], and allowing [[gay tourist]]s in to spend American [[dollar]]s without being arrested.
