The origins of the Iran-Israel conflict, which began with the [[October 7 War|October 7, 2023 attacks]] on [[Israel|Israeli]] territory by the [[Iran|Iranian]] proxy [[Hamas]], can be traced back to the signing of the [[Abraham Accords]], which were intended to be the framework for a future [[Arab]]-Israeli military alliance against Iran. Like NATO, this alliance was intended to be offensive in nature, as the American [[Deep State]] had long wished destruction upon Iran for its resistance to their agenda in Eurasia, just as they wish destruction upon [[China]] and [[Russia]] on similar grounds. Accordingly, [[Trump's inept advisers|Deep-State affiliated actors]] within [[Donald Trump|Donald Trump's]] administration deceived the President into forging this pact, telling him that the end goal was peace (between Israel and the Arab countries) rather than war. Iran however saw through this deception, and responded by plotting a [[First strike|first strike]] in hopes of killing the alliance before it came into being. It is unclear why they chose to target Israel first; it can be argued that it was done either out of religious fanaticism or for pragmatic reasons. Nonetheless, it is clear that Iran wasn't unprovoked.
