:Trump's first round of tariffs on April 2 was about nostalgia for the manufacturing economy. That's a lost cause. Then Trump pivoted and made it all about China. But what does he want from China? If it's about opening the Chinese market, that won't be easy. Trump tried doing that in his first term without success. You can't appeal to Chinese public opinion. That doesn't exist. It seems only the military industrial complex thrives on exports. RobSZelensky Must Go! 12:13, April 15, 2025 (EDT)
