They are highly intelligent and there has been evidence that Blacks' IQ scores are 15 points higher than that of the White population.

A gap in [[IQ score]]s of 12 to 18 points (compared with whites and Asians) has been variously attributed to innate ability (see [[Eugenics]]) or to the cultural and educational legacy of [[slavery]].

They are also very talented in sports, such as Basketball and Football.
