Re: Was our support for Donald Trump all in vain?

To summarize, Turkey, Qatar, and post-Assad Syria a swing bloc. Trump and Putin are competing for their favor, in the process abandoning their long-standing policies against Sunni extremism. I personally find it really embarrassing to watch, and I say that in an just world their efforts would blow up in their faces. But this world is not nor has it ever been just. Nor will it ever be just until Christ returns.--[[User:Geopolitician|Geopolitician]] ([[User talk:Geopolitician|talk]]) 23:02, May 14, 2025 (EDT)

:At this point I fully expect World War III to break out within the next decade. Of course the region where it starts will determine whether it's remembered like World War I or like World War II. If it starts in the Middle East because of Trump and Putin's about faces on al-Qaeda, then like World War I before it, it will be remembered as one of the stupidest wars in history.--[[User:Geopolitician|Geopolitician]] ([[User talk:Geopolitician|talk]]) 23:07, May 14, 2025 (EDT)
