:Problem: This "influential" & "prominent" [[Conservapedia]] editor has acquired quite a record for [[violent]] [[hate speech]]. My proposal would be to strip out the reference to "Atheists are a proud lot and they are con men."

::For the record, the offending editor and myself have discussed this subject, his repeated assertion that [[atheism]] and [[Christianity]] are polar opposites (for example the text reads: "After a closet atheist reads this critique of atheism, he is going to want to stay in the closet or convert to Christianity.") Christianity and atheism are not polar opposites, and [[User:Conservative]] has admitted as much in many private phone conversations going back to 2007. An "atheist" can convert to [[Islam]] or any one of dozens of polytheistic religions to shed the label of atheism. A person who exclaims [[Satan]] as their god is not an atheist. Neither does belief in the existence of [[Christ]] bring salvation; it is [[faith]] in the saving [[grace]] of Christ that beings an eternal reward. We should not be preaching a [[false]] [[gospel]].

::Googling the present version of the text cites [[Jordan Peterson]] in a well-publicized video that Peterson didn't handle well and backfired. Given the context, one can only conclude it was [[User:Conservative]]. The reference should be just stripped out.
