== NFL Career ==
In 1999 the [[Chicago Bears]] drafted Colvin in the forth round of the [[1999 NFL Draft]]. He played with the Bears for four seasons before he became a free agent (2003) and signed with the [[New England Patriots]]. In the second week of the 2003 regular season Colvin suffered a severe hip injury that threatened to end his football career.
