The proposed US Rte 2 North will be a paved two lane road that will give US road access to the property owners and villages that currently only have road access thru Quebec Canada! US Rte 2N will Start on US Rte 1 in Fort Kent ME, and end on US Rte 3 in Pittsburg NH. Staying as close to the Canadian border as is practicable for a road. In Maine it will travel with the existing ME Rte 161, and then cross the St John River, to provide US road access to Estcourt Station ME. Then continue along the US side of the international border to New Hampshire.
