Ansar Allah has its primary tribal base in the al-Houthi family and the broader Houthi tribe, which is concentrated in Saada governorate in northern Yemen. The movement draws significant support and [[military]] manpower from the Hashed, Bakeel, and Khawlan tribes, which are located in northern Yemen and share [[historic]]al and [[social]] ties with the Houthi clan.
