The word "anti-Semitism" mistakes what is just a ''property'' for what is the ''essence'' of Judaism. Judaism both admitted neighboring nations' religious sensibilities, which God told them not to do, and rejected Christ, who was predicted by Jeremiah, amongst others, to establish a New Covenant.
That Semites preponderated in the remaining Judeans was an accident of history. Jesus sought to establish His Kingdom through the Temple, and had the Sanhedrin accepted Him, He would have attained a reign with Semitic history at its center as having culminated in His rule, and those adhering to the Old Testament may very well have admitted more outsiders beyond the Semitic race. For example, there's a certain psalm that seems to be an oath spoken by outsiders seeking assimilation. Those who prefer Christianity to Judaism and resent Judaism's influence in excess of their desert don't oppose them on the basis of their racial composition, or at the very least, not many of them do.
