Five National Health Service staff members, including three doctors, have been identified in a new investigation by the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA), revealing that they shared social media posts including claims that Zionists control the world, calling Hamas terrorists “the resistance,” and asserting that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must die. The findings were revealed in a report published by the Daily Mail on Saturday.

This investigation follows a documentary released by CAA last month titled Malignant: Anti-Semitism in the NHS, which featured interviews with British-Jewish patients and workers recounting alleged antisemitic abuse at hospitals in the United Kingdom.

According to the report, police visited the home of Holly Passmore, 44, of County Durham in northeast England, on July 4, 2025, after an anonymous referral to the government’s Prevent program flagged her support for Israel following an educational trip organized by Israel’s embassy in London.

Prevent is Britain’s government counter-extremism program. Referrals are assessed for potential security threats or concerns that someone vulnerable could be drawn into radicalization. Police say support offered through the program is voluntary.

The report cited records Passmore subsequently obtained showing that the referral characterized her involvement with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as excessive, citing her decision to travel to Israel. It also alleged mental health issues and susceptibility to harmful influence.

However, a police intelligence report reviewed by The Telegraph explicitly acknowledged that supporting Israel or traveling there did not constitute a counterterrorism concern.

Passmore, who is not Jewish, told the newspaper that officers questioned her connections to Israel, future travel plans, interest in Jewish matters, and whether she had visited Auschwitz.

“When they came to the door, they didn’t discuss my health. They only asked about Israel."

Passmore cares for her nine-year-old son, who has severe autism, and is pursuing a master’s degree in Holocaust studies at the University of Haifa. She disputed the referral’s characterization of her health and vulnerability.

According to the report, after she complained, two other officers, including a superintendent, visited and assured her she was not regarded as a terrorist or extremist. She alleges the superintendent also encouraged her to stop discussing the incident online.

The newspaper also reported that Passmore discovered her medical records had designated her a vulnerable adult shortly after her Israel trip. The designation was subsequently removed. She said neither change was explained to her and questioned whether it was connected to the referral.

Counter Terrorism Policing North East declined to discuss her case. The Telegraph said Durham Constabulary and the regional health board had been approached for comment.

Left-wing Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed is being slammed over a resurfaced Columbia University research paper he authored with a “racist and eugenics outcome” that concluded Arab women should only breed with their own kind for optimal health outcomes.

El-Sayed — who has repeatedly called himself a physician though he never completed his medical school residency — warned in the 2011 paper published in the “Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health” of the hazards of “interethnic mating” — which he insisted increased the risk of children being born premature.

“Our findings suggest that interethnic mating may be associated with increased risk for adverse birth
 +
outcomes among Arab ethnicity mothers,” he stated, back then going by Abdulrahman M. El-Sayed.

El-Sayed published a 2011 paper titled “Interethnic mating and risk for preterm birth among Arab American mothers.”

The research, funded in part by NIH grants, concluded that Arab women having children with white men was linked to 18% higher odds of preterm birth — below 37 weeks — and 24% higher odds of late preterm birth — between 34 and 36 weeks — compared to having a child with an Arab father.

The study found no statistically significant difference in very preterm birth, before 32 weeks, based on whether the father was Arab or white, but didn’t spend much ink dwelling on that finding.

Critics savaged the paper as pseudoscience.

A leader of French Jews on Sunday called on the government to declare a state of emergency to deal with nationwide rioting, which he said was being organized by the far left.

“I believe we need to declare a state of emergency in France, send in the army, massively increase law enforcement personnel and arrest these rioters and vandals by every means,” Bruno Benjamin, the president of the Marseille-Provence branch of the CRIF umbrella group of French Jewish institutions, told JNS.

On Sunday morning, congregants of one synagogue in Paris found that it had been ransacked on Saturday, Jewish community sources said.

It was not immediately clear whether that incident in the 19th arrondissement was antisemitic or connected to the rioting, Robert Ejnes, the executive director of the CRIF’s national head office in Paris, told JNS.

Hundreds of thousands of people have participated in protests in cities across France over the weekend. The protests, which have been going on for several weeks in waves, began over conditions at public schools, according to some protesters, but have devolved into vandalism, looting and violence against police.

Some 1,200 people have been arrested over the weekend and at least 150 police officers were injured. Footage from Marseille showed police coming under heavy volleys of stones and other objects on a central square. A police station was ransacked in Marseille and in the city of Limoges, City Hall was torched.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar on Monday hit back at Britain’s Labour government, after U.K. Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband threatened sanctions against companies bidding to build in the E1 area near Jerusalem.

“Judea and Samaria are not foreign lands to the Jewish people,” Sa’ar wrote on X. “Our historical rights are not subject to approval from London.”

He said the days when Jerusalem would “quietly accept threats, sanctions and attempts to dictate its policies are over.”

Sa’ar urged London to address “the serious challenges facing its own country” instead of pursuing a “relentless campaign against the Jewish state.”

Bidding on the E1 (“East 1") project, which closes on Monday, covers 1,234 housing units. The area lies in an undeveloped area within the municipal boundaries of Ma’ale Adumim, located between Jerusalem and the developed area of Ma’ale Adumim.

The IDF has revealed an internal document belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization detailing plans to plant explosive devices in areas of displaced persons camps in the Gaza Strip.

"This was part of Hamas’ preparations to protect its leadership and operatives and evacuate them from areas where the IDF was expected to operate, while endangering and exploiting the civilian population in the area, fully aware that these actions were likely to cause direct harm to civilians," the IDF emphasized.

The document, written in April 2024 and now revealed for the first time, shows that Hamas' engineering department proposed planting explosive devices around displaced persons camps and detonating them as IDF troops approached. Such a move would have placed the civilian population in the camps at risk, in order to create panic as a smokescreen for the escape of its operatives.

In the document, the Hamas terrorist organization proposed an additional method of planting explosive devices along routes used by residents of the Gaza Strip, as part of an attempt to delay the advance of IDF troops in the area.

It was even proposed to fire stun grenades into the camps to create chaos and panic, in order to allow Hamas terrorists hiding in the area to flee.

(Oct. 19, 2026 / JNS) Imraan Siddiqi, Washington state executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations and a Democratic candidate for the state House, praised antisemitic streamer Hasan Piker and demanded that the University of Washington reinstate Piker’s canceled lecture in an Aug. 13 letter that JNS obtained via a public records request.

Siddiqi criticized Robert Jones, president of the public university in Seattle, for appearing on a panel earlier this year, referring to a town hall in March about Jew-hatred at Seattle’s Bikur Cholim Machzikay Hadath, an Orthodox synagogue.

“It cannot be that the university finds space to platform and engage with voices who demean Muslims and pro-Palestinian speech, while abruptly canceling a Muslim community-supported speaker, whose central offense is criticizing a foreign government’s conduct in an ongoing war,” Siddiqi wrote.

In the letter, addressed to Jones and shared with the university’s board of regents, the Democratic candidate sought to reverse the university’s Aug. 7 cancellation of Piker’s lecture, which was scheduled for January 2027.

He praised Piker as “an unapologetic and consistent voice condemning Israel’s war crimes against Palestinians in Gaza” and accused the university of “capitulating to political pressure.”

“CAIR-WA respectfully requests that the University of Washington reverse the cancellation and reschedule Mr. Piker’s lecture as part of the 2026-27 speaker series,” he wrote.

CAIR was among the groups to blame Israel for being attacked on Oct. 7, and the Biden administration removed it from an advisory role on the national strategy on fighting Jew-hatred, after initially listing the group on the whole-of-government strategy.

JNS received the letter as part of a public records request one day after Siddiqi was a no-show at a candidate event at a Seattle synagogue. The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle sponsored the event with StandWithUs Northwest, among others.

Siddiqi told organizers that he would come but never showed up. He was at a separate candidate forum, according to organizers, who told JNS that other candidates were able to make it to both events.

In a candidate questionnaire for the Jewish-sponsored event, Siddiqi wrote that, “I will continue to stand with the Jewish community whenever hate arises.”

He has received endorsements from Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who are among Israel’s harshest critics in Congress.

Siddiqi’s opponent in the 32nd legislative district, Washington state representative Lauren Davis, who is also a Democrat, attended the Federation event.
