I added a bit saying that some states still restrict the sale of alcohol on Sundays to the 4th commanded in US law section. I'm pretty sure this is still true in some places; at least it was as of recently. Massachusetts did not permit liquor stores to be open on Sunday last I heard (though bars can be), and in New York I still think you can't buy alcohol before noon.
