:I removed the bit about how he pled guilty so he could make his flight home. That's not how it works. The plea is not entered until later at trial. He couldn't enter a plea with the officers. he wouldn't even discuss it with them. That would be the prosecutor's job. Anyway, the police indicate that he is not going to be held for the misdemeanors, but will be released and must either appear in court later or (what Craig actually does) enter a plea by mail.
