Why has this article been locked? So far as I know, it is not under attack, and so doesn't need protection. Is this yet another effort to prevent ideas other than those of Admin - even alternative ''Christian'' views - getting an airing? This is getting rather like the old Vatican! Why has this article been locked? So far as I know, it is not under attack, and so doesn't need protection. Is this yet another effort to prevent ideas other than those of Admin - even alternative ''Christian'' views - getting an airing? For example, the phrase 'fourth century' should in fact read 'second century' (I should know -- I wrote it!). And the Bible ''doesn't'' require belief in Jesus Christ as one's ''personal'' Lord and Saviour -- whatever other kind of Lord and Saviour it might require, and whatever further ideas evangelicals might care to read into it.
