:Generally what you would do is create the category by adding it to the page you want (you can do this by typing <nowiki>[[Category:Islamic World Divisions]] at the bottom of the article). Then go to the newly edited page and click on the new category. Edit this page and put it in the category you want (so, put [[Category:Islam]]</nowiki> at the bottom of this page). It seems a little backwards at first, but you get used to it. If that doesn't make sense just let me know.
