Seeing as how Great Britain abolished the slave trade, and slavery in its colonies and at home decades before American slave owners <s>thought</s> were forced to do so, I wonder if the "to a lesser extent" passage was really relevant? [[User:Aboganza|Aboganza]] 18:34, 26 February 2008 (EST)
