If your thyroid gland is damaged or not functioning properly, you will gain weight even if you eat your normal set of calories. You will also become lethargic and depressed. Let me see if I can't find some more for you. :) [[User:FlightlessOstrich|FlightlessOstrich]] 15:11, 15 March 2008 (EDT)
