So, the Biblical penalty for BEATING someone so hard they miscarry is...a fine. If there's any other applicable quotes (aside from the Ten Commandments, which possibly don't apply either, since Jews, at least, don't consider a baby to be 'human' until the 4th week AFTER birth, due to the hideous infant-mortality rates back in the Good Old Days, and the whole "Thou Shalt Not Kill" thing is more honored in the breach in the Old Testament, anyway.)<br />
