I'd like to thank you for being helpful and accommodating in the time since I joined; you have not been angry, accusatory or unkind at all. I do wish people could be more civil, recognise that more than one opinion can be legitimate, and at least try to prepare to change one's mind. I am also sorry that an agreement could not be formed: I know that it was unlikely on such an almost cherished article, but my views have been stated, and could still be acted upon (particularly about moving said phrase).
