'''Henry Morgentaler''' is a Canadian [[doctor]] who is a leading [[abortion]] provider in that country. He was born in 1923 in [[Poland]] to [[Jew]]ish parents. He survived the [[Auschwitz]] camp with his brother but his parents and sister were murdered. In 1945, the camp was liberated by [[Soviet]] troops commanded by Marshal [[Ivan Konev]]. Morgentaler trained as a doctor after the war. He emigrated to [[Canada]] and began performing [[abortion]]s in the 1960s. Since then his clinics have performed many thousands of abortions. He is honorary president of the [[Humanist]] Association of Canada.
