There are a number in the Bible but the one I like the best is in the 12th chapter of the book of Revelation, verses 7-17. This is highly symbolic but very real nevertheless. The dragon who is called Satan and the Devil, the Serpent and the Accuser (that is what Satan means) is hurled out of heaven where he originally was. There was no longer any place for him in Heaven. This shows that he had undergone a change from serving the Lord to being- well, what he has come to be. Shouts of Joy resound in heaven but now woe to the earth because he now does his harm to the earth and its inhabitants. He rages knowing that his days are numbered. This shows that Satan, and this really is the nature of evil, does his evil dirty work out of spite! It values nothing to him but he wants to take down with him all that he can before his certain destruction comes. There is a certain self-destruct to all evil. His prime target, and here he intends to gobble them up, is the woman and the male child she has given birth to. Sounds like an abortionist doctor to me, but the immediate reference is to the Messiah. He hates Christ (the woman probably represents the fullfillment of the people of God and then the Church), and really he hates with his hatred for Christ, all the bearers of the image of God- his surpreme hatred.

But there are many other passages that show this warfare between Satan and evil and goodness and God. But God has the victory (and we with Him) "through the blood of the Lamb!"[[User:BertSchlossberg|Bert Schlossberg]] 09:25, 17 May 2008 (EDT)

The source cited for information between Satan's war on God is Milton's 'Paradise Lost'.[[User:Aperson41|Aperson41]] 15:39, 27 July 2008 (EDT)

It seems clear to me that "Sons of God" refers to Angels, because in some translations it makes a distinction between Sons of God and Human Women, and in others it refers to the Nephilim's fathers as "supernatural beings". Reverting it now.[[User:Aperson41|Aperson41]] 15:36, 27 July 2008 (EDT)
