Flood Geology, although accepted within the some of the Christian faith, is not widely accepted in most of modern science. Most Geologists accept gradualist approaches to geology, rather than a global flood. Much of the evidence cited by Flood "Geologists" is in question, and it should be noted that more traditional views of Geology are better substantiated. Nonetheless, Flood Geology has several hypotheses which offer alternatives to better supported theories.
