She is the worst kind of poisonous, rhetorical, insensitive and downright stupid politician, whom - if America actually bothered to take a look at itself from outside its own borders for once - the US public desperately need to steer well clear of if they are to avoid damaging their international reputation even more. − Bush has defiantly frittered away the people's support in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Portugal, South Africa, Holland and even here in the UK. Even our government is distancing itself from US politics. If Sarah Palin is allowed to whisper her particular brand of idiocy into John McCain's ears then I think EU/US relationships will drop to an all-time low. For the record, we wouldn't mind McCain so much (it was Hilary we hated), but clearly, like the rest of the world, we are hoping, praying even, for Barack Obama to come and show us the best of American democracy rather than the nonsense we've had to deal with for the last 8 years. − − −
