3. Who was your favorite military figure from the Civil War, and why?

My favorite is probably 'Stonewall' Jackson. Not because of the side he fought for, or because of the side he opposed, but because of his bravery and cunning. He had courage, and was greatly respected. Imagine being called one of the greatest generals of our country's history!

Maybe I would have done more to abolish the Ku Klux Klan. More then they already did, anyway. I would have made it one of my top priorities to get rid of the K.K.K, and I probably would have paid more attention to the south. Even though they were re-building themselves, they still succeeded once, and they might do so again, if they had been pushed, I think.

I would have made it one of my top priorities to get rid of the K.K.K; sending out union spies to find their headquarters, or simply battling them.  And I probably would have paid more attention to the south, and what they were doing or planning. Even though they were re-building themselves, they still succeeded once, and they might do so again, if they had been pushed.
