Revert as speculative. Baraminology does propose that there are many fewer baramin than species (plant AND animal) for reasons like this, but the extent implied by this paragraph is speculative.

Thus, organisms that are found to be continuous in a BCS potentiality region form a holobaramin or monobaramin (depending on if all organisms within the potentiality region are considered), whereas those that are discontinuous form a polybaramin or apobaramin (again, depending on completeness of the organisms considered).

Very many botanical species of plants can and do cross-hybridise with other species. Wheat can hybridise with rye, for example, and raspberry with blackberry. As there may be a continuum of links between cross-hybridising species, this implies that there is a very small number of baramins of plants. For example, the each family of flowering plants could be regarded as, in effect, one super-baramin.
