::::I think Alan's point re Steve Lawrence is that--yes--SL is/was fairly famous, but there are hundreds of American artists who are as (or more) famous than he, and that Lawrence was not the least bit influential, musically speaking.--[[User:RossC|RossC]] 19:26, 24 November 2008 (EST)
