Yes, but a new division should be created within a international community and not within the military or even private sectors of the United States or any other country. That would lead to the eventual militarization of space, which is unneeded unless we face some massive alien threat. Its a nice thought but the technology hasnt been demonstrated and biological constraints make long term exposure to low gravity unlikely. A moon base would almost certainly be dependant on Earth for resupply [[User:Markr|Markr]] 15:42, 27 November 2008 (EST)
