The '''Wicked Bible''' is one of the rarest Bibles in the world, all because of one typographical error.
In the year 1631, the Seventh of the [[Ten Commandments]] was incorrectly printed as 'Thou shalt commit adultery'.
For this error, the printers were fined 300 British pounds, which was, at the time, a lifetime's wages. The thousand copies printed were ordered destroyed, but a few escaped destruction, and are now sold for many thousands of dollars. <ref>http://www.greatsite.com/ancient-rare-bibles-books/platinum.html</ref>
