The hypothalamus, a tiny section of the human brain which controls anger, temperature, fatigue, hunger and thirst and circadian cycles is also responsible for development of the brain. For a reason as yet unknown, different sections of the hypothalamus can recieve different levels of [[testosterone]], the [[hormone]] responsible for masculine development. A high level of testosterone in one particular section therefore results in girls becoming "tomboys" with a low level resulting in femininity. A second section causes the development of [[sexuality]], with abnormal levels resulting in homosexuality. It has been alleged that highly illegal - not to mention unethical - medical experiments on fetuses have been carried out in [[Russia]] which confirmed this.
