::::::Sure, I'd be hard-pressed to find a single group that wasn't at least a little bigoted to people outside of it. But it's hardly "common". I don't think that political ideology predisposes someone to be bigoted (except in the extreme cases that you mentioned). And I still don't see any substance to the claims about Muslims or gays.
